Suan Phueng - An abundance of European gardens

Last week, I visited Suan Pheung again (click here to read my first time at Suan Phueng), which is a district in Ratchaburi province. The name Suan Phueng, in thai means "Garden of Bees". There were not many tourists in the area, as it is mostly common to the local people. It seemed much more unwinding, unlike other locations which are usually crowded at this festive time.

I could not get my eyes off the window while travelling, because of the open skies and its exuberant greenery. The hue of the flowers had made the surroundings more kaleidoscopic at Baanrai Areeya Resort.

As soon as we reached the resort, Aditi started taking aesthetic photos all around the zone.

At around 7:30, we (my family and I) went to have dinner. The owner of the resort was very warm-welcoming and a kindhearted woman. She was serving every customer with varieties of sweets.

We then went to bed after sometime, as we were barely able to keep our eyes open!

We woke up at the crack of dawn next morning to view the sun-drenched towering trees and prismatic tents. I thought that the intention of the owner was to make it look very picturesque.

After breakfast, we arrived at the Strawberry Farm. This place is known for having fresh, pesticide-free and organic strawberries along with various kinds of fragrant flowers. We even bought a few of those freshly harvested strawberries. It also felt seasonally appropriate to buy strawberries.

The shop also sold many types of strawberry extracts. It seemed like it was brimming with freshness and flavour.

Next up, was the Baan Hom Tian (Candle-Making Factory). It was not just a regular factory, as it was specifically designed for tourists. However, not many websites had mentioned about this tourist attraction. The artworks displayed made of candle wax and they were all unique and incredibly artistic. Tourists could also customise the candles as they liked. (Including the colours and fragrance)

Isn't this picture "lit"? Sorry :P
Is it just me or this looks like a tree filled with candles?
Awkwardly standing next to a candle for no reason...

Overall, I think Suan Phueng is one of the most desirable places for visitors all over Thailand. This is because it has the perfect combination of excellent culinary experiences, scenic views and artistic imagery. Hence, I recommend it to every local and foreigner to visit these places whenever they come to Thailand.
